For our trade customers

WVH New Zealand is closing. Your panels are not going anywhere.

WVH is winding down in New Zealand. Trade supply moves to The Panel Collective, a New Zealand business built for exactly this work: wall panelling sourced, made and delivered for your projects, at trade pricing.

Same team, with a far bigger range behind them.

What changes for you

Until now, with WVH

  • Buy any quantity, down to a single panel
  • Delivered from the stock we held in our warehouse
  • Retail prices listed, trade discount applied after
  • Range limited to the finishes we had imported

From here, with The Panel Collective

  • Minimum order of 50 panels, priced at project scale
  • Made to order for your job, 3 to 8 week lead time
  • Wholesale pricing quoted ex GST against your drawings
  • Full catalogue, plus sourcing for finishes not listed

What you get instead

Wholesale pricing

Quoted ex GST against your drawings, so the margin on the job stays with you.

One matched batch

Order at project scale and the whole wall comes from one run. No mixed dye lots halfway up a feature wall.

Spec documentation

Fire and acoustic documentation supplied for consent, including Group number options and NRC figures.

A far bigger range

Acoustic slat in timber and colour, wide slat and flexible tambour, with sourcing behind it for finishes not on the site.

Delivered to programme

Delivered to site and staged to your build programme rather than arriving whenever a courier feels like it.

One point of contact

The same person from enquiry through to delivery and beyond, who knows the product and can help you spec it.

Sourcing, handled for you

The hardest part of specifying panelling has never been choosing a finish. It is finding someone who can actually supply it. Sourcing overseas means finding factories, working out which ones are real, negotiating minimums, checking quality you cannot see from here, and carrying the risk if the container turns up wrong. That is a full-time job, and it is not your job.

The Panel Collective already holds those relationships. What is on the site is what gets imported regularly, and behind it sits a supplier network deep enough to get finishes that are not listed. You send drawings and a timeframe. You get a quote, a panel schedule and one point of contact, from the first enquiry through delivery and whatever you need after that.

That is the difference between a shop you buy from and a supply partner that can source you all things wall panelling.

Your questions

I have an order with WVH already. What happens to it?

Nothing changes for orders already placed and paid. They are fulfilled as normal and your delivery details stay the same.

Do I have to be a registered trade business?

No. The only requirement is meeting the minimum order of 50 panels.

In practice that is mostly builders, joiners, cabinetmakers, designers, architects, fit-out contractors and resellers, simply because few residential projects need that many panels. But if you can meet the minimum, you can buy, whoever you are.

Can I get samples before committing?

Yes, and you should. Samples ship free New Zealand-wide so you can judge the real panel on the real wall, in the light of the actual space, before anything is ordered.

What if my job is smaller than 50 panels?

Talk to us anyway. Ordering at project scale is what makes wholesale pricing and a single matched batch possible, but it is better to have the conversation than to assume the answer.

How does pricing work without prices on the site?

Pricing is quoted per project, ex GST. Send your finishes, quantities, drawings and timeframe and you get trade pricing back along with a panel schedule worked from your drawings.

Project pricing is why the figures are not published: the rate depends on the quantity and the finish, so a list price would be wrong for most jobs.

Is it the same team?

Yes. Same people, who know the product and the New Zealand market. What changes is what sits behind them: a supply network built for made-to-order project work rather than a shelf of whatever was last imported.

Talk to someone before you plan your next job

If you have a project coming up, get in touch early. With made-to-order lead times, a conversation now is worth more than a quote later.
